Don’t believe your own Bullsh%t! What do I mean by that? There are too many people who think they are far better than they actually are. There are business owners out there who prefer to believe that there business is riding high, that their conversion rate has never been better, that their product is the best on the market or their service is without equal when actually, everything they are saying to themselves is nothing but Bullsh%t. I would encourage you now to take some time to be reflective. When we hold up a mirror to ourselves and decide exactly where we are right now, we can move on.

If you lie to yourself about and believe your own Bullsh%t you are going to place yourself above all the competitors who can outperform you. Think about all the difficulties, complications and disappointments that will entail. And here’s the real problem for the self-deluded business owner, they never improve because they believe all the Bullsh%t they are telling themselves about how great they are! If you currently over promise and under deliver I am talking about you!

The quickest way out of this ever decreasing mindset is to choose to be open and honest about what you are good at, what you are bad at and where you need to improve. If you have placed yourself above stronger competitors be honest about it, own your rightful position. Then enjoy all the benefits of putting in place all the steps you need to take that will put you on top through the power of hard work not hot air!

If you don’t do this your mind will be closed to opportunity and the energy of new ideas. People who prefer to believe their own Bullsh%t never listen to others because they are often challenged buy what they say and so they block them out. Why? Because they think they are better than they actually are and that their business is better than it actually is- until it fails and they Bullsh%t themselves about why it failed.

Yes, it is important to be honest in business but if you really want your busines to thrive and grow, the most important person you have to be honest with – is yourself!
